Telemetry Antennas

Antennas designed by Cobham Antenna Systems are used for transmission of telemetry to data acquisition systems for remote measurement and reporting.

Live transmission of telemetry from highly visual, and mobile, sources such as race cars for fuel levels or tyre temperatures have become an industry standard.

Transmission of similar telemetry uses antennas for accurate, reliable, live readings from a wide range of system monitoring such as harvest levels, water levels and tidal flow, pollution, distribution of assets, liquid and chemical storage, and temperature variants where this is critical.

Systems also use Wireless LAN or GSM networks for transmission of warnings where safety levels are transgressed.
