Silver Fiber Brush Slip Rings

Silver Fiber brush is a lubricant free contact technology. Main advantages are maintenance-free, low temperature, cost effective, reliability for data transmissions even in low temperature areas.

Silver Fiber brush are available for numerical data transfer and electrical power up to 50A.   No lubricant required between silver bruches and rings. Consequently, this technology requires less maintenance during the Slip Rings life time. By this way, cost of ownership is divided.  This Slip Rings can ensure reliable data link such as Ethernet, CanBus or Profibus at lower temperatures. Finally, this solution is cost effective and, for this reason, widely used in industrial applications, wind turbines and bottling machines.  Lifetime of such technology can reach more than 100 millions of rotations depending the design and requirements.
