High Voltage Electric Swivel

High Voltage Electrical swivels are especially designed to transfer high power voltages of several tens of kV and high currents up to 2000 Amps in harsh maritime oil and gas environments.

Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) or Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) structures, including buoys, loading towers or turret moorings, require highly reliable and maintenance-free electrical swivels. They provide the vessels with required degree of rotation. Electrical swivels must be capable of transferring uninterrupted high power whilst offering great degree of protection in hazardous areas.
